Fly fishing for Salmon and Sea Trout.
Ideal for individuals and small corporate group days.
Catching an Atlantic salmon is a unique experience which many people never achieve, with the help of our guide Tony Charlton we aim to help you achieve this experience.
Tony has fished the rivers of the British Isles extensively for salmon and sea trout, we can offer his services on many of the Scottish rivers together with the rivers of northern England.
Prices vary as to the river, time of year and quarry but most arrangements can be made given sufficient notice.
Tuition is available for those who require it, be it anglers new to the sport wishing to learn the art of salmon fly fishing, or perhaps those a little more experienced who would like to pick Tony’s brains for any hints or tips he can offer to improve technique.
Tony is also happy to provide advice on suitable outfits for salmon fishing, for those of you that require it, tackle can be made available for hire. Should you wish to hire tackle from us we would request that guests contact Tony prior to their visit to discuss individual requirements.
Flies and spinning lures are always available to purchase, many anglers in the past have raided Tony’s fly boxes (albeit with his permission and guidance!) and have gone on to successfully land fish. Tony ties his own flies.
The weather is often unpredictable, sometimes it is to the anglers' advantage whilst at other times it is not. When conditions are proving difficult, there is always the option of visiting one of the local still water trout fisheries where you can enjoy fishing from either bank or boat.
Please note that on any river in England all anglers fishing require an Environment Agency Rod Licence. Licences are available to purchase from the Environment Agency website: www.environmentagency.gov.co.uk, or from most post offices. Please remember that any salmon caught in England prior to 16th June must be returned safely to the river in accordance with Environment Agency byelaws. There are no licence requirements in Scotland.
Prices from £195.00 per day per person
