Ideal for new or novice fly fishing anglers or someone looking for something different to try.

Day or half day on a private lake in Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire.

Private fly fishing lessons available.

Small or large groups also welcome.

Corporate fly fishing days available on other selected venues.

You will be met near the fishery, given tuition on casting (if needed) then on to the lake to try to catch the brown and rainbow that will test your skills.

In wild and natural surroundings.

Lunch can be arranged at nearby country pub.

Steve Ward and Ian Horrocks between them have over 40 years experience of fly fishing, to help, encourage and ease you through an exciting and enjoyable days fishing.

Steve Ward has fished on rivers, lakes and at sea. Having spent the last 20 years fishing mainly for Barbel and Chub, with double figure Barbel on many different rivers, likewise many chub over the magic 5lb mark. building up 20 years knowledge of river Kennet, Hampshire Avon. Profile

Steve has also fished the Dorset Stour, upper Severn and Teme, plus all round fishing with pike to 20lb,both common & mirror carp to 25lbs, plus large Perch, Tench and Bream.

there are many tailored made fishing trips to suite young and old, in all sections of angling.

Ian Horrocks is a Former tackle shop owner and is now the Angling Development Officer for Oxford City Council introducing angling to disadvantaged youngsters as an alternative to anti-social behaviour.

He has a wide range of experience in most branches of angling and is a fully qualified Level 2 coach with the National Federation of Anglers.

A member of local clubs he fishes in matches most weekends and enjoys chub and bream fishing on local rivers using a variety of tactics - Pole, Waggler and stick float fishing and feeder fishing.

He is equally at home fly fishing on local still waters and has an annual pilgrimage to the River Moy in the north west of Ireland to do battle with the local salmon population.
